Genius use of shadow on a billboard. This is one billboard you don't mind seeing. So simple yet very powerful. Take a minute and watch the live action. Then take another minute and think of something that you can do to help wildlife. Tuesday / June / 19 / 2007

LIFECan't figure out what you want to say to your ex? Need to gather some words of encouragement? Some Ecards have filled the void with these electronic messages. I personally found these unseemly ecards to be very amusing. I guess that says quite a bit about my persona. So hit up that special someone and give them a sense of humor. Tuesday / April / 24 / 2007

LIFEA community site where people can share stories about mistakes they've made in life and their advice to others. You can share your mistakes anonymously or publicly and then monitor to see if your advice helped a almost fellow mistaker. Only Human has a handful of other topics to browse and learn what not to do or tell other humans what to do. Everyone knows some advice in the relationship section never hurts. Some headlines that caught my attention were letting a girl fall to her peril, wearing jams, and buying a cheap plane ticket. Monday / March / 19 / 2007
DESIGNJust got my New Balance 8505 Zip black on silver this weekend. Took the dog for a long walk to break them in and the result was cush. When NB says energy-in / energy-out they mean it. It's great when a pair of shoes will get you in the running mood again. Reminiscence of the high school x-country days running 8-10 mile a day. Friday / March / 16 / 2007
TECHNOLOGYIn 1992, designers and aircraft specialist combined knowledge and had one mission: to be apart of the great Swiss watchmaking tradition while meeting the demands of men facing extreme situations. Bell & Ross watches are designed under 4 principals water-resistance, precision, readability, and performance. These watches are built to be precise and accurate under the most extreme conditions from the depths of the sea to the solar system. The highly complex mechanism has a price tag well into the thousands but if you find your self neutralizing bombs or just fancy the best in timepieces it may be practical. DESIGNI'm proud to shamelessly plug the launch of ReDezines. The flagship site of my empire encompasses a blog, updated portfolio with current clients and description of services. At first glance you may think the the site is a bit plain and has a lack of graphics. The concept behind the clean layout is to put significance and value in defining the services and showcasing the portfolio without any other diversions while still being able to let the brand grow. More updates to come very soon but for now ReDezines v3.0 is ready for action. Sunday / March / 11 / 2007

ARTSCaptured here is video episode 66: Brooklyn-based artist Jose Parla. Cultivated by Cool Hunting a site to get familiar with. Watch as Jose combines layers of his mind process. Its fine art spiced with abstract and stirred with graffiti. The video grasps the true technique of his constant flow of "writing". The humbleness of his personality and complexity of work is a inspiration to me. Sunday / March / 04 / 2007
LIFEYou maybe one of those really giving shoppers who buys in to the (RED) campaign, which don't get me wrong is great and has brought the donation of many causes wide spread. But for all you that just want to donate without getting crap there is (LESS). The (LESS) campaign is the collaboration between Romantic Static and Words Pictures Ideas that allows you to donate to great charities with out buying crap from major corporations. Just launched last week (LESS) is already making a huge impact with donation efforts. The support of the great ads for this campaign is sparking the fuse to lessen human suffrage without consuming. LIFETo become a poolboy; this is the ambition of three young men by the names of Sam Rush, Denman, and The Swede. This isn't any aqua hole though. No, no, no this is the pool of topless gals and endless parties. This is the pool of the Playboy Mansion. You may say so, there are plenty of men out that would leave their present lame job for the opportunity to spray the Grotto down. Except, these three lads created a online guerrilla campaign called Poolboys at the Mansion featuring a blog, faq, and bio sheets. The three believe that they need the backing of the masses. They are asking for people to write letters of recommendation. With the help of your creative writing they may just kill the interview that comes up in August and score the job of a Playboy Poolboy. ENTERTAINMENTIf and when I post about music it means I have been listening to it for about three days straight. The new Bloc Party album A Weekend In The City is in heavy rotation. The way the group has progressed from Silent Alarm is outstanding. The over all theme of the album is simplicity. A contrast to the past. I have read that Kele Okereke (lead vocals / guitar) wanted listeners to feel the desolation and loneliness that fills our modern city life. There is no abstract lyrics to misinterpret therefor more focused and organized. Feel the pain of "Kreuzburg", dance to "Hunting for Witches" and start a riot with "Uniform". Give this whole album a run through and you will find yourself growing on it. Watch the music video for "I Still Remember" from the Bloc Party's new release. Sunday / February / 04 / 2007
ENTERTAINMENTA new iTunes plugin just recently developed is iConcertCal. The facts are - completely free plugin that monitors your music library and generates personalized calendars of upcoming concerts in your city. Runs on Mac OS X and Windows. iConcertCal searches site like Pollstar and will update your concert info once a week. It's fool proof, just click on the show and it takes you to the venue website. I'm guessing sooner or later the next bridge to be gapped is tickets will be purchased through your AppleID. Thursday / February / 01 / 2007
ENTERTAINMENTHad to put this post in as the X games came to an end at Buttermilk Mountain in Aspen/Snowmass. This was the 11th Winter X Games and by far the most impressive. Not only were all the top athletes present but the Aspen attendance record was broken with a reported 31,200 people at the snowboard superpipe event . The biggest trick of all events included speed, air, style, power and maybe a crash. This year brought a new event Snowmobile Freestyle which by far was the most death-defying. The soundtrack to X Games was none other than Lupe Fiasco. Check out the results, athlete bios, pics and videos here. Sunday / January / 21 / 2007

ARTSBansky known for his stencil masterpieces and fine art sabotage has now placed all his work in the shop for free. The numerous bootleggers selling pirated prints will have no game on ebay any more. "Serving suggestion: Prints look best when done on gloss paper using the company printer when everyone else is at lunch." -Bansky Tuesday / January / 09 / 2007
TECHNOLOGYSteve Jobs's keynote address at Macworld 2007 was meant to move and shake the world in which we live. Not only did he introduce the appleTV which gives you the ability to stream all your music, podcast, shows, and movies that you have vigorously compiled in iTunes on to your flat screen TV. Connect by USB 2, Ethernet, WiFi, ect. This box has a 40GB hard drive and a Intel processor with a price tag of $299. Next on the agenda, maybe the the most impressive of all - the iPhone. The iRevolution has made a life cycle. The plan is to start shipping in June under the Cingular/AT&T carrier. For a mere $499 it could be yours. The features are iPod - Phone - Internet Communicator all controlled with the newly introduced multi-touch and is the thinnest smart phone to date. As a mac user I am totally stoked for this, I may even switch carriers. Why wouldn't I when I can sync my email, contacts, calendar, music, movies and shows from mac to the iPhone through iTunes... just like the iPod. So much to mention - just watch the keynote for gosh sakes. Tuesday / January / 09 / 2007
ENTERTAINMENTIt's the one year anniversary for the Howard Stern Show on Sirius Satellite Radio and I must say it gets better with age. Howard and the crew are constantly adding new outrageous content from new wackpackers to the infamous sybian. The radio from the sky is the new frontier for audio entertainment. I joined the revolution a month after Howard ran his first show on January, 9th 2006. Once your receiver acquires the satellite feed you never want to go back to terrestrial radio again. It's just too boring, most the music is lame and ohh yea it's censored. The programing on Sirius is like no other giving you the best music and entertainment your money can buy. I don't care what the XM population have to say. Since Stern joined Sirius he added approximately 2.7 million subscribers which has a bill around $700 million. The content/advertising war between Sirius and XM may go on for years before one of them is eaten buy a big player in the industry like Motorola. With Stern's 5 year contract with Sirius there is much more fun to be had. You know The Throwing Star will be basking in the filth of entertainment. The Howard Stern Show has officially uplifted the common traffic jam. Saturday / January / 06 / 2007
TRANSPORTATIONThe Toyota FT-HS hybrid sports concept car will be premiered on the 7th of January at the NAIAS. This two-plus-two is a front-engine, rear-drive sports car with a projected 0-60 acceleration in 4 seconds. It carries a powerful V6 hybrid electric, 3.5L engine with a target power output of 400 horsepower. I want to thank the designers for realizing that hybrid cars do not need to be frumpy. The smooth flow to hard edges accent the modern sports car. Made from carbon fiber Kevlar, the roof retracts so that the roof panel and back window pivot in a downward motion. The cockpit is also made from carbon fiber and titanium with touch-trace finger controls and a telescoping hub-less steering wheel with semi-automatic paddle shifters. The FT-HS is to be the replacement of the Supra. The price tag is to be in the ball park of $35,000. I have a real desire to test drive the form and function of the future.
