GOURMETA recipe for great tasting pumpkin pie from a dear friend of the family. Ingredents: 1 lg. can of pumpkin, 2 cups brown sugar, 1 tsp salt, 2 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 tsp ginger, 1/4 tsp cloves, 1/4 tsp nutmeg, 1 Tsp flour, 5 eggs, 1/4 cup molasses, 2 cups evaporated milk, 1 cup water. Procedure: Combine pumpkin w sugar, salt, spices & flour. Beat in eggs, stir in molasses , add combined milk & water. Mix well, pour into 2 9 in pie shells. Sprinkle w/ cinnamon and bake 425º in oven.
